Part 1: Navigate To The Page

1. Login to TheWebConsole

2. From the left side menu click Manage Pages and choose Content Pages.

3. From the content page list either Add Page or Edit an existing page.

Note: Information on how to Add a New Page and How to Edit an Existing Page can be found in more depth within separate knowledgebase articles.

Part 2: Applying A password To The Page

1. Once you have loaded your page editor click Settings, this is found in the top right of the side menu.

2. Once the setting tab has opened you will find a field labeled “Password Protect Page”, this drop-down field gives you the below options:

Option 1: Single Password

This allows you to type a single password that can be shared to all users you wish to have access to the page. Simply type the password into the field and click the blue “Save” button located at the bottom of the side menu to save the password and page.

Option 2: Individual Contacts Password, All Contacts

This allows you to set a password based on contacts within the add-on tool Database Marketing, allowing access to all your contacts. This is the automatic option when the Individual contacts password option is chosen. Once chosen click the blue “Save” button located at the bottom of the side menu to save the password and page.

Option 3: Individual Contacts Password, Limit Access To Specific Groups

This allows you to set a password based on contacts within the add-on tool Database Marketing but restricts its allowed contacts based on subscription groups. Once chosen a tick box option will appear, allowing you to select which groups should be allowed access. Once chosen click the blue “Save” button located at the bottom of the side menu to save the password and page.

Note: Information on subscription groups and contacts can be found in more depth within separate knowledgebase articles.

Note: Always remember to follow the final point and save the page itself, or the hard work you have done will not be applied.
