Editing Donation Settings and Donation Causes

The Donation tool is a great way to collect monetary donations through your website for multiple causes. This article will teach you how to check received donations.

To Edit Donation Settings:

  1. Click on the Donations tab when you are logged in to your website account.
  2. Click the Settings tab at the top of the Donations screen. You will see the Donation Settings screen, below:
    • Minimum Donation Amount - Minimum amount that someone can donate.
    • Invoice Template - Template layout for the invoice.
    • Specify Donation Causes - Donation causes are listed here so people have the option of which cause they would like to donate to. You can click remove alongside a cause to delete it. or click Add Another to add a new cause.
    • Send Thank you Email - Gives you the option to send an automatic email to people who donate. Upon selecting Yes, you will be given a text box to enter your own message.
    • Send Receipt Email - Sends the donator a receipt email after finalising their payment.
  3. Click Save to save any changes.
