Adding a Knowledgebase article
The Knowledgebase tool is used to organise information into a meaningful structure that can be browsed and searched. Articles are organised into hierarchical categories.
To add a Knowledgebase article:
- When you are logged into your website account, click on Knowledgebase in the left navigation panel and then on Answers.
- Click on the Add Answer button and fill in the form with the following details:
- Heading - The name of the answer.
- Answer - Enter the content of the article in this field. Just like in other sections of thewebconsole, you can edit the text by adding links, paragraph styles and images. Go to Formatting Text for more information on how to do this.
- Visible - Hide Answers while you are working on them.
- Categories - Add your answer to multiple categories.
- Meta Description - You can place a meta description in this field if required.
- Click Save Answer.
Your Answer will be visible if Visible is set to “Yes”, and it is within a category.
